VSMU Clinic

VSMU Clinic is a multidisciplinary medical center. With an advanced technical base and a highly qualified team of medical experts, the Clinic offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services for various health conditions. The Clinic provides comprehensive laboratory testing and consultations with experienced medical professionals. Appointments are conducted by professors and associate professors of VSMU. The Clinic also has its own diagnostic laboratory. The laboratory workflow is organized so that most of test results are available on the same day.

The Consultative and Outpatient Department

Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology Department

A multidisciplinary unit of the Clinic of Vitebsk State Medical University, specializing in aesthetic surgery and medical cosmetology, which effectively complement each other. Surgical techniques allow for radical and effective correction of congenital or acquired aesthetic defects, as well as changes associated with physiological aging. Medical cosmetology procedures help correct aesthetic imperfections and age-related skin changes, slow down aging processes, and treat associated dermatological skin conditions.

The Department of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology covers such areas as:

Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory

At the VSMU Clinic, patients can undergo laboratory testing, either with a doctor’s referral, or on their own initiative.

Timely laboratory testing helps:

• accurately establish a diagnosis;
• determine the stage of a disease;
• select and adjust appropriate treatment.

The laboratory offers a wide range of laboratory tests (over 100 types). The workflow is organized to ensure that most test results are available on the same day. In daily practice, the laboratory uses automated analyzers and reagents produced in Germany, Spain, France, the Czech Republic and other world manufacturers.

Functional Diagnostics Department

All diagnostic procedures at the VSMU Clinic are performed within the shortest possible time. The department offers a wide range of diagnostic services, including 12 types of ultrasound examinations (such as studies of the brachiocephalic vessels, thyroid gland, mammary glands, heart, abdominal organs, kidneys, pelvic organs, joints, lower limb vessels, prostate gland, urinary bladder, and scrotum), electrocardiography, Holter monitoring of electrocardiogram.

Clinical Research Center

The Center was established to conduct clinical trials of Phase II-IV medicinal products and medical devices on behalf of pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations. The main areas of clinical research include: therapy, surgery, neurology, endoscopy, dermatology and venerology, gynecology, dentistry, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, and infectious diseases.

Medical Commissions

At the Clinic, medical commissions can be completed in no more than 30 minutes, with a comfortable process ensured. The Clinic offers paid examination services for individuals and institutions, including: medical fitness examinations for obtaining or renewing a driving license, medical certificate for firearms possession, pre-employment medical examinations, periodic health examinations.
