Vision Restoration Center «OPTIMED»

The OPTIMED vision restoration center has been operating in the ophthalmological services market for about 20 years and is an ophthalmological center for the whole family, offering a wide range of medical services in pediatric and adult ophthalmology. During this time, more than 500 thousand people have become Optimed's patients. Today, the OPTIMED ophthalmological center is an international vision treatment center, whose specialists put all their efforts, experience and talent so that residents of Belarus and abroad have the opportunity to experience all the colors of the world.

The center uses modern equipment from the best world manufacturers (Japan, USA, Germany) and the most progressive treatment methods that have proven themselves in the best possible way. Optimed was the first ophthalmological clinic in the Republic of Belarus to begin using laser vision correction. Since this year, we are the only ones in the Republic of Belarus to perform laser treatment of cataracts (laser support for cataract removal). The use of a femtosecond laser allows us to automate the most complex stages of cataract surgery, achieve a precisely predictable result and eliminate the risk of postoperative astigmatism. Our center also performs certain types of surgical treatment in the retinal area that are not practiced in other commercial ophthalmological centers.

The effectiveness of any treatment depends on timely and accurate diagnostics of the visual organ. Depending on the patient's age and the condition of the visual organ, the Optimed center conducts from 6 to 13 different studies with a one-time payment for the diagnostic service (while in private multidisciplinary medical centers, 3-4 studies are usually included in the vision diagnostics), which indicates a more complete vision diagnostics.

Our center employs highly qualified ophthalmologists, many of whom have been working there since Optimed was founded. Every year, the center's specialists undergo advanced training both in the Republic of Belarus and in leading training centers abroad.

Based on the results of public voting in November 2018, the Optimed center was recognized as the winner of the consumer recognition award “People's Brand of Belarus” in the category of specialized medical centers.
