Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center

The Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus is a leading specialized institution in the Republic of Belarus that provides diagnostics, surgical, combined and comprehensive treatment of patients with tumors of various localizations, as well as their outpatient monitoring and rehabilitation, including for foreign citizens on a paid basis.

Currently, the Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center is a powerful specialized medical and preventive institution.

Every year, the dispensary performs more than 7,000 complex surgical interventions:

• reconstructive surgeries on the biliary and urinary tract,
• video-assisted thoracic surgeries (removal of lung and mediastinal tumors),
• bronchoplastic operations,
• organ transplantation,
• mastectomy with primary and delayed mammoplasty with implant,
• plastic and reconstructive surgeries to restore lost functions.

During the year, about 4,000 patients receive chemotherapy treatment and more than 3,000 patients receive radiation treatment using remote and intracavitary gamma therapy. Methods for installing long-term venous access systems for chemotherapy and radiation therapy using volumetric 3D planning have been introduced.

The institution houses a republican center for thyroid tumor pathology, which provides highly qualified assistance to residents of the republic with thyroid tumors.

There is a department of medical rehabilitation, where rehabilitation treatment is carried out in inpatient and outpatient settings for radically treated cancer patients.

Patients are provided with comfortable wards with a separate bathroom, each patient is provided with emergency communication with the medical post and local lighting, single wards with increased comfort are equipped with household appliances to ensure the most comfortable stay for patients.
