On April 20–22, 2022, representatives of the medical services information portal “Clinics of Belarus” took part in the 20th anniversary international exhibition “Tourism and Travel” KITF-2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The exhibition has been held since 2001 and is the main event of the country's tourism industry. This is the largest professional tourism platform in Central Asia. Exhibition industry experts have awarded KITF the UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) quality mark for compliance with international B2B platform standards.

The 2022 exposition featured 211 companies from 18 countries. Representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Belarus also took part in the exhibition as part of the National Stand. The tourism potential of Belarus was presented by the National Tourism Agency and the information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus".

The exhibition was widely covered by the media in Kazakhstan.

Medical tourism was given special attention at KITF-2022. At the National Stand of Belarus, visitors were able to get acquainted with the capabilities of leading medical institutions in providing high-tech medical care to foreign citizens (oncology, transplantology, cardiology, ophthalmology, traumatology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.), the activities of the information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus".

As part of the exhibition events, a number of meetings were organized with representatives of the tourism sector of Kazakhstan, during which current issues and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The stand of the Republic of Belarus was visited by the following guests of honor: Erkinbaev E.M., Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Sakenov A.M., Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Amankeldi S.B., Head of the Almaty City Tourism Department; Sadvakasov K.S., Deputy Head of the Kazakh Tourism National Company; Shaikenova R.R., Director of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association; Kunanova D.B., Director of the Tourism Department of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Danilenko B.A., Director of the ITECA Exhibition Company; Consuls General of the participating countries – Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Korea, Lithuania, and Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that KITF-2022 has generated great interest among Kazakhstani tourism companies and residents of the republic. It was noted that representatives of the tourism business and travel enthusiasts have long been waiting for the resumption of the usual "live" format of the exhibition event after a two-year pause.
