
A large-scale exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers Made in Belarus was held from 10 to 14 April 2018 in Kyiv. The following guests of honor were present: Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yuriy Brovchenko, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Regulations and Organizational Work Volodymyr Areshonkov, Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kizim, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Gennady Chizhikov, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vyacheslav Bryl, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Viktor Sheremeta, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Oleksiy Pereverzentsev, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine Artem Bidenko, heads of foreign diplomatic missions and representatives of regional leadership.
Leading Belarusian companies took part in the exhibition, demonstrating developments in the fields of mechanical engineering and petrochemistry, transport and logistics, agriculture and food, light industry and tourism, medicine and pharmacy. In particular, the information portal "Clinics of Belarus" presented its services, outlining the main areas of medical tourism in the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition in Kyiv was accompanied by a business program, including industry presentations of Belarusian enterprises. The key event of the business program was the conference "Ukraine-Belarus: Prospects for Cooperation", which took place on April 10. Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of Belarusian manufacturers held productive negotiations. Issues on the development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of medical tourism between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus were worked out.
