The exhibition "Made in Belarus" was held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, as part of the meeting of heads of state from September 12 to 19, 2018. More than 150 enterprises took part in it, a number of thematic expositions were presented: mechanical engineering, industrial equipment, chemistry, construction, science and technology, light industry, food, education, medicine and tourism. The interests of the Ministry of Health and medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus were represented by the state information portal "Clinics of Belarus".
The stand of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Rusy M.I., Ministers of Health of the Republic of Belarus Malashko V.A. and the Republic of Uzbekistan Shadmanov A.K.
Visitors to the stand were introduced to the main achievements of Belarusian medicine and science, much attention was paid to state support for the development of specialized medical centers of the Republic of Belarus, their equipping with the latest equipment and staffing with highly professional specialists who regularly undergo internships abroad, as well as continuous quality control of the medical services provided.
As part of the visit, a visit to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Tashkent and a meeting with the Chief Physician of the Center, Dilnozhon Saidkamalovna Maksudova, were organized; prospects for cooperation with BelMAPO in the framework of organizing internships and master classes for specialists from Uzbekistan were discussed.
During the exhibition, meetings and negotiations were held with representatives of government bodies of Uzbekistan, prospects for cooperation in the field of providing medical services and postgraduate medical education in the Republic of Belarus and Uzbekistan were discussed, and recommendations were received on priority areas of cooperation in this region.
