
On April 6-7, 2021, the medical services information portal “Clinics of Belarus” took part in the international multi-industry exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers “Made in Belarus” in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The exhibition under the general brand Made in Belarus presented services from key sectors of Belarus: agriculture and food products, mechanical engineering and technology, woodworking industry and furniture products, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consumer goods.
The progress of the exhibition for residents of Tajikistan was widely covered by leading media outlets (Tajikistan24, Tajweek, Khovar news agency, Avesta news agency, etc.).
The possibilities of recreational tourism, rest, treatment and education in the Republic of Belarus were presented at the stand of the National Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism. Visitors to the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the capabilities of leading medical institutions of Belarus to provide high-tech medical care to foreign citizens on a contractual basis (oncology, transplantology, cardiology, ophthalmology, traumatology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.) and the activities of the information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus".
During the exhibition, the stand was visited by Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism Mikhail Portnoy, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov, as well as representatives of the business community of Tajikistan: Chairman of the Tajik Association of Tourism Development Promotion Organizations Fayzullaev Fattokh, Assistant to the Minister of Health of Tajikistan Sattorov Sherafgan, Chairman of the Council for Tourism Development Khabibov Davlat and others.
On April 6, the business forum "Tajikistan - Belarus - Afghanistan" was attended. During the forum, key issues of cooperation were discussed, and participants were able to get acquainted with the export-import potential of the three countries.
On April 7, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Tajikistan, a meeting was organized at the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Committee for Tourism and representatives of leading companies in the tourism industry of Tajikistan. The Tajik side was given a presentation on the specifics of medical tourism development in Belarus: the functioning of the information portal "Clinics of Belarus" and the promotion of the brand "Treatment in Belarus".
