
From November 5 to 11, 2019, during a visit to Shanghai, China, representatives of the state information portal “Clinics of Belarus” and the state institution “Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N.N. Alexandrov” took part in the Second China International Exhibition of Imported Goods and Services “China International Import Expo.
The Belarusian delegation demonstrated more than 100 organizations interested in the Chinese market. The export potential of Belarusian clinics was also presented by healthcare specialists.
During the exhibition, participation was taken in a number of events such as the business forum "China-Belarus: trade and economic relations, prospects for cooperation, investment potential", a seminar on the development of Belarusian-Chinese relations, within the framework of the "One Belt - One Road" initiative, as well as the business forum "Shanghai-Minsk", dedicated to holding the days of Minsk in Shanghai in the section of tourism and hospitality of Minsk and Shanghai - "Prospects for cooperation between China and Belarus in the framework of providing medical care and developing the field of medical tourism.
The stand of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, which was presented by the information portal "Clinics of Belarus" and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N.N. Alexandrov, was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the PRC Kirill Rudy, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai Valery Matsel, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, as well as representatives of the official delegation of the Republic of Belarus.
During the exhibition, a number of meetings and negotiations were held, the prospects for cooperation in the field of providing medical services, including oncological care, and postgraduate medical education in the Republic of Belarus and the PRC were discussed, and recommendations were received on priority areas of cooperation in this region.
