The brands "Treatment in Belarus" and "Rest in Belarus" are gaining more and more popularity and are of genuine interest to our neighbors. This is evidenced by the great attention paid to the participants of the Belarusian exposition at the 26th International Tourism Exhibition Balttour 2019, which was held on February 1-3 in Riga (Latvia).
The collective stand of the Republic of Belarus united seven sanatoriums and the state information portal of medical services "Clinics of Belarus". The block of sanatoriums was represented by the health resorts "Borovoe", "Yunost", "Zhuravushka", "Narochanka", "Sanatorium Bug", "Narochansky Bereg" and "Neman-72", at whose stands, visitors to the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the possibilities of recreation in Belarus and choose the most suitable package of services: spa treatment, health improvement, weekend tours or SPA health programs.
The state information portal "Clinics of Belarus" presented the possibilities of Belarusian healthcare in the field of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation. Participation in the exhibition event showed how much demand there is for information on medical services that Latvian citizens can receive in Belarus. The greatest interest was shown in such areas as dentistry, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology. Belarus, from the point of view of medical tourism, is suitable for Latvian citizens wishing to receive treatment, which is facilitated by a single information and linguistic space, and a visa policy.
The presentation of the Republic of Belarus as a state with extensive experience in providing high-tech medical care, through the unified information platform “Clinics of Belarus”, allows for the popularization of domestic healthcare in the international arena.
