
Medical Expo is a unique exhibition of medical, surgical, hospital, diagnostic and other services in the healthcare sector. The exhibition brought together healthcare leaders of various fields from 17 countries.
The exhibition was attended by leading state healthcare institutions of Belarus - the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N.N. Alexandrov", the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology", the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Children's Oncology, Hematology and Immunology", the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery", as well as the state operator of medical tourism "Clinics of Belarus" with a presentation of the potential of medical tourism in the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian exposition was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin, who was given informational and advertising materials about healthcare in the Republic of Belarus and educational services of the Belarusian State Medical University.
At the National Stand of Belarus, visitors were able to get acquainted with the capabilities of leading medical institutions in providing high-tech medical care to foreign citizens (oncology, transplantology, cardiology, ophthalmology, traumatology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.), the activities of the state operator of medical tourism "Clinics of Belarus". Medical education and retraining of medical workers were presented by the Belarusian State Medical University and the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of the Belarusian State Medical University.
As part of the exhibition events, a number of meetings were organized with representatives of medical tourism in Kazakhstan, during which current issues and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
It is worth noting that the Belarusian exposition aroused great interest among Kazakhstani medical tourism companies and residents of the republic.
