Treatment of scleroderma
Treatment of scleroderma

Scleroderma is a chronic autoimmune connective tissue disease characterized by thickening and hardening of the skin, as well as involvement of blood vessels and internal organs. The disease may present in a limited or systemic form and requires long-term comprehensive treatment.

When is treatment required?

Treatment is required in cases of skin thickening and texture changes, microcirculatory disorders, joint pain and stiffness, as well as signs of internal organ involvement. Indications for therapy include a confirmed diagnosis and evidence of disease progression.

How is treatment carried out?

Treatment of scleroderma is aimed at reducing autoimmune activity, slowing fibrotic changes, and protecting internal organs. An individualized pharmacological therapy is selected based on the disease form and the degree of activity. Regular monitoring of clinical and laboratory parameters is performed, along with dynamic follow-up to allow timely adjustment of treatment.
