Unfortunately, no one is insured against tooth loss. However, few people consider that the loss of one or several teeth is not only an aesthetic issue affecting the smile, but also a serious risk factor for the development of further dental problems.

Dental prosthetic treatment provided by specialists from Belarus is one of the most advanced, fast, and reliable ways to restore a beautiful smile within a short period of time.

Why should dental prosthetic treatment not be postponed?

If one or more teeth are missing in the dental arch, after some time:

  1. adjacent teeth will shift toward the formed defect, gradually involving other remaining teeth in the process;
  2. distribution of chewing load will be disrupted: the remaining teeth will bear increased load, become mobile, and deteriorate more rapidly;
  3. as a result, the number of teeth requiring prosthetic treatment will increase;
  4. the quality of food chewing will deteriorate, which may lead, at a minimum, to gastritis.

Therefore, the longer you postpone your visit to a prosthodontist, the more expensive dental prosthetic treatment will be in the future.

Dental prosthetic treatment in Belarus

Modern prosthetic technologies used in Belarusian dental clinics allow maximum preservation of tooth tissues. Tooth preparation is carried out with consideration of the final result and the specific type of prosthetic construction, the thickness of which can sometimes be as little as 0.3 mm. Such constructions are very fragile until they are fixed to the teeth. However, due to the use of modern high-strength materials, once bonded to the tooth, the strength of the construction is comparable to that of a healthy tooth. At the same time, the tooth remains “vital” and its appearance remains natural.

This technique makes it possible to restore the natural anatomical shape of the tooth and contributes to effective removal of food debris. Proper tooth shape protects the gingival margin from injury by food particles, thereby preventing the development of periodontal diseases. Proper tooth shape can be achieved through aesthetic restoration using composite materials, in other words, fillings; however, in cases of extensive destruction or when full smile reconstruction is desired, this method has certain disadvantages. All modern composite materials (fillings) still exhibit polymerization shrinkage, and the larger the filling volume, the greater the shrinkage. This manifests as the appearance of unattractive, stained margins around the filling.

TYPES OF PROSTHETIC TREATMENT

Removable prosthetic treatment

(acrylic, clasp, and other types of dentures)

With this method, dental prostheses can be removed from the oral cavity.

Fixed prosthetic treatment

(crowns, fixed bridges, inlays, veneers)

This method involves single-time placement of a prosthesis for permanent use. Natural teeth or installed implants are used as abutments. In cases of severe destruction of the tooth crown, endodontic treatment is performed, followed by core restoration and prosthetic rehabilitation using various types of artificial crowns or fixed bridges. Today, a wide range of materials is available for the fabrication of such constructions.

Restoration of a completely missing tooth at the modern level is recommended to be performed using dental implants, and the earlier such treatment is carried out, the less bone resorption will occur. Ideally, implant placement is performed immediately after tooth extraction.

Thanks to modern technologies, it is possible to restore the complete anatomical shape and relief of a natural tooth.

Implantation

A dental implant is an artificial biocompatible structure that is placed in the oral cavity at the site of a missing tooth and subsequently used as a support for the fabrication of various types of dental prostheses.

Dental implantation in Belarus today is the most effective, optimal, and reliable method for complete restoration of the dentition.

By sending a panoramic radiograph or the results of computed tomography, we can carry out preliminary planning and finalize it during an in-person consultation. Additional questions can be addressed during an online consultation with specialists from our clinics.

Cost of prosthetic treatment

The cost of prosthetic treatment consists of:

  1. the cost of the implant itself;
  2. the cost of implant placement procedures;
  3. the cost of the suprastructure.

Implants registered with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus are used for placement. These are mainly implants manufactured in:

  • Israel
  • Italy
  • Switzerland
  • Republic of Belarus

The main factors affecting the final cost of dental implantation include:

  • the scope and complexity of the surgical intervention;
  • the number of implants placed;
  • bone tissue quality, including possible bone augmentation procedures;
  • the prosthetic material used.
