Vision Restoration Center «OPTIMED»

The OPTIMED Vision Restoration Center has been operating in the ophthalmological services market for about 20 years. It is an ophthalmological center, offering a wide range of medical services in pediatric and adult ophthalmology. Over the period of its operation, more than 500,000 people have become Optimed's patients. Today, the OPTIMED ophthalmological center is an international vision treatment center, with its specialists doing their best for the residents of Belarus and foreign patients to experience all the colors of the world.

The center uses advanced medical equipment from leading global manufacturers (Japan, the USA, Germany) and applies progressive, clinically proven treatment methods. Optimed was the first ophthalmology clinic in the Republic of Belarus to introduce laser vision correction. Since this year, the center has been the only clinic in Belarus to perform laser-assisted cataract curgery (laser support for cataract removal). The use of a femtosecond laser allows for the automation of the most technically complex stages of cataract surgery, ensures highly predictable surgical outcomes, and reduces the risk of postoperative astigmatism. In addition, the center performs specialized retinal surgical procedures that are not available in other private ophthalmological centers.

The effectiveness of any treatment depends on timely and accurate diagnostics. Depending on the patient's age and the condition of the visual system, the Optimed center conducts from 6 to 13 different diagnostic examinations within a single payment diagnostic session (while in private multidisciplinary medical centers, 3-4 studies are usually included in the vision diagnostics), which indicates a more comprehensive and detailed vision diagnostics.

Our center employs highly qualified ophthalmologists, many of whom have been working there since Optimed was founded. Every year, the center's specialists undergo advanced professional training both in the Republic of Belarus and at leading training centers abroad.

In November 2018, based on the results of a public vote, the Optimed center was recognized as the winner of the consumer recognition award “People's Brand of Belarus” in the category of specialized medical centers.
