State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N.N. Aleksandrov" is a leading oncological institution and provides a full range of services in the field of diagnostics, treatment and education. N.N. Aleksandrov Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology is a leading oncological institution and provides a full range of services in the field of diagnostics, treatment and education. The N.N. Aleksandrov RNPC MPA is the largest medical institution of the Republic of Belarus.

Since 2001 the Center has been actively modernizing. New buildings are gradually put into operation, the most modern diagnostic and treatment equipment is installed.

In 2015, a new building of the Republican Molecular Genetic Laboratory of Carcinogenesis and the Republican Center of Positron Emission Tomography were put into operation. Thanks to the laboratory's equipment, which meets the best international standards, the most advanced research can be carried out here.

The Center has developed and applies unique methods of treatment that have no analogues in the CIS countries and the world, such as:

1. General hyperthermia of common forms of cancer diseases;
2. Photodynamic therapy of precancerous diseases of the female genital sphere.

The Center employs 22 doctors of medical sciences, 75 candidates of medical and biological sciences, 11 professors, 1 corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

High authority of the Center in the international oncological community is confirmed by numerous awards:

• "European Quality" (received in 2009)
• Since 2014 the State Institution "RNPC of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after N.N. Aleksandrov" has been the center's center of excellence in oncology and medical radiology. N.N. Alexandrov" is a member of the international organization "Unionfor International Cancer Control" (UICC).
• Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko "For Spiritual Revival" (received in 2017)
• "For outstanding achievements in cooperation in the development of joint cancer control programs in the Euro-Asian region" (received in 2018)

Modern equipment, with which the Center is equipped, makes it possible to establish a diagnosis in the shortest possible time in the most complicated cases. Every year the Center performs about 1 million different diagnostic and laboratory tests, more than 10 thousand operations. Patients of the Center have a very wide geography. Citizens of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Libya, USA, Great Britain, Venezuela, Iraq are examined and treated here.

Inpatient treatment of patients is carried out with the use of modern medicines and methods of treatment in wards of increased comfort.

After complex, comprehensive examination and treatment, the patient is given detailed recommendations on further preventive and supportive treatment, lifestyle, to prevent relapses of the disease and maximize social adaptation.
