Information
The Gomel Regional Clinical Cardiology Center is one of the largest highly specialized treatment and prevention centers in the Republic of Belarus and the CIS providing qualified cardiology, cardiac surgery, X-ray endovascular and angiological care to the patients.
The main direction of work is prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases: arterial hypertension, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy etc.
It is possible both long-term inpatient treatment and examination of the cardiovascular system in just two or three days with the selection of an individual treatment program. Cardiology Center offers wards of increased comfort.
The Gomel Regional Clinical Cardiology Center has a cardiosurgery department and an operation and resuscitation module. The operating and resuscitation module allows performing operations in modern conditions according to European standards.
Interventional surgery (X-ray endovascular, intravascular surgery) is an advanced field of modern medicine based on low-traumatic diagnostic and therapeutic surgical interventions with the help of special miniature catheter instruments inserted through a point puncture of an artery or vein into any organ under the control of special X-ray diagnostic systems.
