Brest Regional Clinical Hospital is the largest multidisciplinary medical institution in the Brest Region. The hospital comprises 28 clinical departments and 7 diagnostic departments equipped with modern medical technology from leading manufacturers. Up to 80 surgical procedures are performed daily in 14 operating rooms. The hospital also has its own clinical diagnostic laboratory equipped with advanced technology for a comprehensive range of laboratory tests. More than 30,000 patients receive inpatient treatment each year, including both citizens of the Republic of Belarus and international patients from Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, and other countries.
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical care, implements advanced medical technologies, and performs complex and high-tech surgical procedures, including off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve repair and replacement, kidney transplantation, major joint replacement, minimally invasive thyroid surgery using endoscopic equipment, laparoscopic bariatric surgery, cataract treatment, minimally invasive surgery of the bile ducts and pancreatobiliary system, hair transplantation, and other procedures. The number of high-tech surgical procedures performed annually continues to grow, while the range of available surgical interventions is constantly expanding.
The hospital employs 35 external chief specialists of the Main Healthcare Department. In addition to their inpatient clinical practice, many of these specialists provide outpatient consultations, ensuring long-term specialist follow-up for patients with complex medical conditions.
The continued development of the scientific and clinical potential of Brest Regional Clinical Hospital enables the institution not only to consolidate and disseminate its extensive experience, but also to actively contribute to the scientific, methodological, and practical development of regional healthcare.
A defining feature of the hospital is its commitment to innovation. The introduction of new surgical treatment techniques helps reduce surgical trauma, improve patients' rehabilitation potential, and shorten the length of hospital stay.
